Dental Health Care, Why is dental so costly.

Tuesday, Jul. 13th 2010 9:10 AM

I would like to know why is dental sevices so costly? It really does not seem right that gerneral maintance on you teeth should cost more then see your doctor for a check up.   I have both my dental and my medical though my employement.

It cost me 25.00 per office visits to see my dentist but only 10.00 to see my doctor.  My dental insurance only covers out about 50 percent of all my dental services.  Were  I hardly have to pay anything for my medical.

I know you may not be able to address my question to the plans I have but in gerneral why is dental so costly.  It just seems to high to me.

I do not think you have a bad dental plan at all. My dental plan is about the same as yours. Now I wish me medical was as good as yours seem to be.

To me it just sounds like you have a very good medical insurance plan so be happy. Your dental plan seems about normal to me. However nothing stopping you from shopping it out and seeing if you can find a better dental insurance plan.
