Dental Insurance, Anyone know of a good low cost dental plan

Tuesday, Jul. 20th 2010 7:01 PM

I am live in Massachusetts and I am looking for a low cost dental plan for just myself.  I really only want to spend no more the $20.00 a month for a dental plan.  My teeth are okay but like everyone I do need to go to the dentist twice a year for my check ups.

I have been without dental insurance now for almost a year so I am late on my dental visits. What can you suggest to me that is affordable.

Dental Insurance, Anyone know of a good low cost dental plan

  1. Andrew Gollab Says:

You may want to look for dental HMO insurance plans or dental discount plans. Both should be within your budget that you have set up for yourself.

  2. T Hilbert Says:

In order to avoid the high cost of many dental insurance plans an alternative to dental insurance would be a dental discount plan. These are low cost plans that easily fit into your monthly budget.

Dental Discount plans will help reduce your dental cost without it costing you a lot to be a member. They will normally start right away and offer no max limits or waiting periods. Get for someone who has a toothache today and can not afford to wait long period of time to get it taken care of.

There are still many good low cost dental insurance plans available. You will need to know some factors about want you want in deciding what is best for you.

If you want to stay with a dentist then you would need to know what type of dental plans the office accepts. I would start with the dental office first before spending to much time on line looking for plans.

If it is not about staying with a dentist then choosing on in an affordable HMO dental insurance or a dental discount plans will not be an issue. Just call the provider and confirm that they are still accepting the plan in question. Just take some time and make sure you read the terms and conditions of the dental insurance plan you are thinking about buying.
