Individual Dental Insurance, In Florida looking at your Delta Dental program

Friday, Oct. 29th 2010 10:21 AM

Hello  I live in FL and I have been looking at your dental dental HMO program that you have.  Do you have to pay it in full for a year?  Or can you get a monthly rate?  I wondering because I may only need the plan for half a year.

My husband job as been talking about getting dental insurance benefits but it is not 100 percent and I heard this before.  However one is hopefull and if I do get the Delta Dental HMO insurance plan is it for a year only?  Just wondering how that works.

  1. Andrew Gollab Says:

On the Delta Dental HMO plan we offer they do not have a monthly payment option, you do need to pay for the plan yearly.

However even at the yearly cost it is not a high cost plan and would help you durning the time frame you do not have dental insurance. I would also suggest before cancelling out the plan if you choose to get it, compare it to what you may get. What if the dental plan you get has waiting periods. Then keeping your HMO plan until they are over would be a good idea.
