Dental Discount plans, Checking into three plans that are in New York.
I been on your web site on and off for a few days now. Been shopping out dental insurance but found that I may be choosing a dental discount plan for cost factors. Never having bought a discount plan before I am not sure which plan the best out of the three you have listed for the state of New York. Can you tell me a little bit more about discount plans and how they work and whatever else I should know

When comparing dental discount plans there is no one plan better then then next. What may be good for me and my dental needs may not be good for you and your own dental needs.
You may want to compare the fee schedules that are listed so you can compare cost for dental services. As an example if you need a root canal you may want to buy the plan that has the cheapest cost for a root canal.
However the dental office may be a factor for you. So if you want a dental office with in walking distance from you or that is open on Sundays whatever you own personal needs are then you would want to find the dentist in a dental discount plan that will best fit your needs.
I could go on and on but I think you can get an idea of where I am coming from. In short just go though each plan know the benefits and make sure you have a dental office you want to use under the plan.
May I suggest that you do call the dental office and confirm that they are still accepting the plan you are reviewing and any other questions that may be important to you.
Take your time all the plans start within the next business day so it is worth spending a little extra time making sure you are getting the best plan for your own dental needs.
