Connecticut dental insurance benefits for dental implants. Please help and advise. Due to an auto accident that I had three months ago I knocked out four of my front top teeth that could not be saved.Since the accident was determined my fault (which to me was not) I am stuck without any care for my teeth.
My current dental insurance is covering me for a bridge but not implants. Since I do not want a big gap in my teeth I am getting a bridge until I can afford to get dental implants. What I would like to know is do you have any dental plans that can help me with the cost of dental implants. Thanks.

Dental insurance will normal cover bridges and partials but not dental implants due to cost and the type of service it fall into as cosmetic.
However we do offer dental discount plans that will give you a 15 – 20 percent off the cost of implants. Though you must make sure they have dental providers in the plan that does dental implants.

Man I had the same thing happen to me and it really sucks when you find out that your dental insurance will not cover for dental implants when it is not for cosmetic reasons.
I did not just have messed up teeth they were knocked out due to an accident. I too had to have a bridge but I am saving up my money for implants that run for me about $1000 a tooth…. I got a dental discount plan that will save me hundreads but still it will be costly .
