Best dental insurance for individual in Pennsylvania

Best dental insurance for individual in Pennsylvania.  Is it better to get a dental HMO or a dental PPO which dental plan is better to get?  I am thinking about getting an HMO just because it is cheaper and has no waiting periods.  However PPO let you go to your own dentist correct? 

Also since they do cost more do you get better coverages?  If so would you be better of in the long run then getting a PPO?  Which insurance plan type do you recommend?
