Dental Insurance, Dental care, I need a root canal

Tuesday, Jun. 29th 2010 12:42 PM

Help I need a root canal and I am freeking out about it.  I do not want to have it done but the dentist told me it is the only way to save the tooth and to stop it from hurting all the time.

I do not have dental insurance that will pay for me to have a root canal since it need to be done by a speicalist.  So is there anything that can help me with the cost of having a root canal?

Also I am scared about having it done.  I really am not good with dentist.  I am okay for a cleaning but anything more then that and I get upset.  Since I never had a root canal before can anyone tell me it it hurt to have one done?

Well to get some help with regards to having the root canal done by a specialist you may want to review getting a dental discount plan.

As long as the plan as a specialist you are looking for then you would get at least a 20 percent discounted saving.

When you call the dental office let them know that you have some dental fears that need to be address. Some dental offices are really good with address dental fares were others will tell you they are not.

Whatever dentist you go to will do their up most in making sure you do not have any pain during the root canal process.

Having a root canal done is really not so bad any more. The dentist will numb your mouth out so much you really should not be able to feel much of anything.

Your mouth may be a little sore afterwords just because of having it open for a long period of time but no biggie. Let the dentist know a head of time about your fears that way the can address them with you as they proceed with the dental services
