My baby has a toothache and not sure how to help

Thursday, Nov. 25th 2010 2:13 PM

My daughter is only 8 months and is teething so her teeth that are coming in are hurting her.  This is my first child and I am a little on my own here.  I need help.  I hate seeing her hurt so and teething rings are not helping.  What else can I use.  New mom upset baby needs your help and advise.

  1. Stacy Says:

Try using teething tablets that you can get at Target. Or at least that were I get them. They work much better for my son then standard teething rings.

  2. April Says:

Have you tried using baby Orajel it helped my daughter some and made teething process a little easier. However teething is no fun and it is something every baby just has to get though.

If it is really bad talk to your son doctor and see what can be suggested to you.

With my daughter since she was really small and teething rings did not work well for her either. I would freeze a soft baby wash cloth and let her use that as a teething ring it really worked well for her.
