Dental Health Care, Fiances filing fell out need dental help

Tuesday, Jun. 22nd 2010 10:30 AM

Well my fiances filling fell out yesterday.  I tried calling his dentist for a dental appointment but the dentist he goes to now is only open during my fiances work hours.  My fiances will not ask for a day off from work to get his tooth fixed.

He says he can not afford to ask for days off when he just got the job two months ago.  I understand but I do not think it is a good to not have fixe right away.  How long can he wait on fixing his filling any advise on getting him to go?

Well I too feel it is best for him to go to the dentist ASAP. When a filling falls out it leave your tooth open to more decay.

I can understand about not wanting to ask for days off on a new job however if is reason are a good one asking for a few hours off will not get them upset.

Who ask to ask for days off just to get a new filling put back in. All he has to do is either go in late or leave a little early. He does not even have to as for a complete day off from work. Seems to me he is just scared of going to the dentist to get his tooth fixed more then anything else.

Why not just go to a different dentist that he can then go to after work hours or on his days off. Hello that should not be to hard to do.

By waiting around he is taking a big chance of cracking that tooth. Right now he has a big whole that is make the walls of the tooth week. It would not take much to brake or crack that tooth now the way it is currently

I total understand about not wanting to take time off from work but sometime you do do not have choice. If his tooth get worse he may wine up having to ask for days off compared to just a few hours.
