Individual dental insurance for a 23 year old in TX
I am 23 just starting to go back to school. I work 30 hours and go to school part time. I no longer live at home with my parents and I do not have and dental insruance. I am getting medical from my job right now but I need dental help.
I have not seen a dentist is about a year so I do not think my teeth are all that bad but I would like to be able to go for a check up to make sure and maybe get a cleaning. What can you suggest for me to get on a lower income status?

I would suggest on a low or fixed income to looking into the low cost dental plan options.
If you are wanting dental insurance that look towards dental HMO plans they are low cost dental insurance plans that offer good over all dental beneitist making going to their dentist much more affordable. Look for a dental HMO plan that offers free to very low cost preventive dental care.

I have a dental discount plan. Being a full time student like yourself I needed a dental plan that was a very low in cost and would just help me with my basic dental needs.
I did not see the point in getting a high cost dental insurance plan when all I ever really do is have a check up and cleanings twice a year.
